My favourite restaurant, Castero, is situated in the center of Quattro Strade, a small village near Pontedera. It's quite expensive but the place and the food are fantastic. When you enter in Castero in front of you there is a counter where you can take a coffee, pay the bill and reserve a table.
On your right there is a dining room for small groups and on your left there is another dining room for big groups. In the garden of the restaurant there is a big space for children. The staff is very helpful and very nice.
The best dish is the “tagliata di maiale” (grilled pork steak), it's really good and delicious, it is cooked by one of the best chefs in the whole Valdera. I recommend this restaurant because the food is very good and the service is fantastic.

La Sorgente
LA SORGENTE!
My favorite restaurant is La Sorgente! It’s located near my village in Santo Pietro.
It’s a beautiful and big restaurant; there are two swimming pools, a big tennis court and there is a big park when the kids can play.
My favorite dishes are: Spaghetti alle Vongole (pasta with clams) and Pizza.
I like this restaurant because it is quiet, amazing and after you have eaten you can play freely in the tennis court or you can have fun in the wonderful swimming pool.
La Sorgente is known because prices are affordable and the quality is excellent.
A lot of people choose La Sorgente to spend ‘’New Year's Eve’’ there because there are some little houses when you can stay same days; in fact every year a lot of tourists go there to enjoy their holidays. By Algerta!

O' VESUVIO
O'VESUVIO
O'Vesuvio is a restaurant in Pontedera and you can find typical Neapolitan food.
The furnishings are confortable, elegant and you can find games and toys for the children.
The typical food is "Pizza Margherita" cooked in a special way with natural ingredients. In the staff there are only nice and helpful neapolitan chef and waiters. Besides the Pizza you can eat the typical "mozzarella di bufala" from Naples, that is taken every morning directly from there.
It's my favourite restaurant for the quality of its food and for the place and it isn't expensive.
The dining room is very big and it's nice that you can see the chef while cooking.
